05-09-05 09:55, Jean Parrot told James Bradley about HD to go. How do, Jean? JP> Sorry if this was misaddressed to Jim H. Nope... If you want the original poster, the "O" key in BW is easy enough to remember. Otherwise, an "R" for reply does it. JP> So, you are the one looking for a HD. I think a 2.5". I JP> have a few here to spare. Many 540 megs, a few 840 megs and one JP> 1.2 gig. All are the 12.5mm size x 2.5" plates. Interested ? You should have received my previous post by now? Like I said there, if I could get data into the broken down laptop, I would toy with it in there. (Busted floppy, and PCMCIA NIC and modem prevents me from plugging it in, and exchanging *any* files unless a whole series of steps are done to the HD first.) The subject computer I need a drive for needs a "slim" 9.5mm drive, which shouldn't cost me too much once I can sort out my I-Net email accounts. (Can't log onto ebay without a working mail address...) ... Thanks Again, Jean.
