05-08-05 11:49, Jim Holsonback told James Bradley about Part 2 100/66 MHz fsb
How do, Jim?
JB> So I stopped by at the library on my way to an appointment, logged onto
JB> the ebay registered email account to see what the HDs are selling for.
JH> What % _certain_ are you that you need another HDD?
That's a question I've been asking myself. Just how smart *is* S.M.A.R.T.?
JB> After that I go looking for the Sterling page on james_bradley. Pasword
JB> failure! Reset the password, and *that* doesn't work. Reset again, and
JB> the ebay {at}canada account goes MIA!
JH> News to me that Ebay offers email accounts, and if they do, that
JH> you would be able to check ebay auctions thru an email account.
See, I should know better by now, but when the brain is in pain, the
fingers just make up their own jiberish.
What I tried to say, was - the email account I register my ebay account
with. You know, the one ebay will send email to when a "Watched
Item" expires, or when you have a successful purchase? Clear as mud?
JB> If this is the age of Aquarius, I can't wait for it to *end!*
JH> I wish I could help you with the above from here, but I cannot.
You just did, Jim. You just did!
JB> curiosity at this time, and intended as "If it's available to your
JB> recall." As soon as I sues out a HD, and pay off one more debt, I
JB> should be able to put more grunt into the research.
JH> Sorry I couldn't be of more help. At this point I'm about out of
JH> ideas.
I guess you misunderstood my gripes for a desire for assistance?
Don't get me wrong, as I toss around a problem, often a sollution or two
shows up that would have remained hidden. Otherwise, I'll apologise for my
typing when I was in a fog. (I really SHOULD stop trying to force myself.)
I really did garner information on how I might fudge the HD issue, even
though that was not my original topic. What else can I ask for? I gathered
a few ideas, had a few laughs, (NOT at anyone's expence, I promise!) and
confirmed as well as demolished a few suspicions.
I'd call that a successful day! <-;
... Thank You for your time and consideration. James
