subject: Re: telnet bbs under win

I know i know but.
I always hated windows from day one.
well sence windows 95 came along.
with the NON-Hardware modems , blue screen of death.
plug and pray it works stuff.

  Then i found linux.
its a os i fell in love with.
it if was not for bbs'ing or tryin to setup a bbs again.
i don't think i would ever touch windows.

but like i said Iam tryin to setup a bbs again after.
  Close to 10 years.
I don't like Synchronet in fact.
The only 3 bbs packages i ever liked was Telegard , Renegade Pcboard.
thats it the others i could not stand for more then 1 day on a test box.

  Now with this windows stuff.
i was using my sisters extra computer WITH XP :(
and could not get the netfossle working right.
it always cut me off saying the node was in use.

then i tryed this synch2rg stuff.
on both windows 98(orginal) and windows ME.
still could not get that to work.
guess i will try that again when i can use my sisters extra computer.
  the one with XP :(
if that don't work , then i guess i will break down.
And try and configure this synchronet software the best i can.
Even though i don't think it could be as sweet looking
as my old bbs once was.

  Have fun.
