I'm all for this echo being unmoderated, as it was, but the amount of

crap being thrown through it now makes Dave's comments (and your earlier

ones) quite true. I believe it needs to be moderated to allow the echo

to resume to its earlier profile.

That's still not going to fix the problem as most of us see it. It will

still need to be moderated. Witness the dole debacle.



Let's do a referendum on whether the occupants want a moderator or not.



I will tally the results and post them if votes are netmailed to me.



If the general opinion goes against a moderator, so be it. Dave can cut

the feed and you can alternate it, but let's get an informed vote

beforehand.

Referendum dates are 16/7/1996 to 24/7/1996. Netmail to 3:640/305.66

Vote "YES" for moderator, "NO" for no moderator.
