I think that is the most common case?

Since SCSI DVD burners don't seem to exist, I bought an SATA one (this was 
about 15 months ago).  It works great with DaniS506, but getting it 
working with Linux was a nuisance - not recommended, but I can tell you 
how to get it working if needed.
