My records were 2 years and 11.5 months with 8KHA+, and 2 years and
11.75 months (oops!) with 4BDA2+.

In my case, degrading capacitors were the cause - this is not something
that only affects Epox (although it seems that the rather featureless
Shuttle mainboards from 2002 stood well through this test).

I always reserve an option to reassess them a few years later.
Otherwise, "brandophobia" would be just as pointless as the bigoted
"brandophilia".
