So you still have all the built-in bloatware that came with. I figured it
was some iteration of android as many (but not all) androis apps work.
Since I mainly read books and don't use the "extras" I have a bit
of a problem with the battery life. My Kindle e-reader will go more than a
month between charges. The Fire might make two days if normal use .... even
just used as a reader.

Fair enough. Book Bub is just another resource. I also get, as an Amazon
Prime subscriber, freebies from them.

I quit following jockstrap sports a looooooooong time ago. My
disenchantment began when Bill Veeck mover the Browns out of St. Louis.
