http://www.silentpcreview.com/article265-page4.html

presents an analysis of power needs of systems right up to dual Athlons.
Many of the articles at the sight are worth a study, (This whole site,
brought to our attention by PW, is thoughtful and thorough.)

A portion of the conclusion:

"When it comes to adequate power delivery, all of our test systems could
easily be handled by a 300W power supply that conforms to ATX12V v2.xx.
Conversely, an older PSU rated honestly for 300W output may not be
adequate for the most powerful system examined here because of the much
lower 12V current capacity on models that comply with v1.3 and earlier
versions of the ATX12V spec."

It's the bit about 12V current capacity that may obsolete some of our
older large power supplies.

OK

You win Harry. I followed your advise. Newegg had/ is having
a 1 Day sale.

     I bought a Thermaltake TR2 W0070 430 watt power supply for $40.00
plus a $10.00 rebate.

That is also following Paul's advise also.

     Thanks guys
