:) By the time you buy a bit of PC gear its probably obsolete...

I'd suggest a couple of things. First, use the URL below to work out the
approximate size of the supply you need for your machine:

They have a calculator which allows you to combine various components to
work out the size of PSU that you need. I suspect it will be smaller 
than you expect. 

Once you've done that, take a look at the site below:

Apart from an interesting article on PSU requirments, they also feature a 
list of recommended units.

Beyond that, I've been using Hiper supplies - they're not real top range
units, but they're reliable, quiet and come in at a very reasonable cost. 
I'm currently using a 350W and a 425W supply of theirs (and looking for 
a third to replace a junk 600W supply).
