Robert

I am just repeating what I have been told and experienced.

I am told it is bad practice to use use an 80 pin to 68 pin adapter
to connect SCA drives to a 68 line ribbon cable.

The 80 pin to 68 pin adapyor board is such a simple
cheap little board the there is no way to ID them as to
good and bad brands, manufaacturer, distributor, vendor.
As far as we know, they all come out of one unknown factory
in China.
