If, from what I understand you are trying to do, the answer is no.  The 
EZ-SCSI package is not free.  However, if you ask NEC, they might send you 
drivers for both their drive and an Adaptec controller card.  However, as I 
pointed out earlier, this option is not necessary if you are attempting to 
access this drive in a DOS VDM under Warp 3.0 or higher.
