  It may just seem that way.   When something happens, the pilots
 may just have a second or two to correct it.  Then a review board
 sometimes takes two or three years to come up with a cause.  Look
 at the TWA 800 case...
       On the Fine Air accident, I may presume that the DC-8 had
 electric trim... I have not flown commercial... but runaway trim
 COULD cause a similar problem if not disengaged immediately.
      I see some of the corrective actions and they seem absurd.
  My technical knowledge is way out of date...
