That's true if all the functions that you used are supported in the newer
version. If you were to upgrade from 2.5 to 2.6, then that wouldn't be the
case. In every major release, some of the powerful functions in UI are
changed. If you want to take advantage of those new/modified functions,
you should really use the new UI file as the baseline and move your changes
across.

I believe if someone can customize the UI file extensively, there will NOT
be any problem for him/her to move the changes across. But it takes time 
and it's no fun in doing it. Since someone brought up the discussion, I
thought a translation program would be nice.
