All this talk about torpedo propulsion, and acoustic isolation got me to
recall some news that Hedie LaMar [sp?] donated a acoustic torpedo guidance
system that was reportedly in use to the day it was reported about. Do you
have any knowledge about about the system in brief?

I'm also just about as curious about her screen work. A gal who can dream
up such a system, is *surely* a dream girl in my eyes, 
but I don't recall seeing any of her work, or her name in any TV guide
movie listing. Anyone know of a movie she was in that tends to broadcast?
