First day of testing of 2004 at the Mugello Circuit for Scuderia Ferrari
Marlboro. Rubens Barrichello took to the track today, making his debut at
the wheel of the F2004.

Testing was affected by rain, which lasted all day. Barrichello continued
development work of the car, running on rain tyres throughout. A total of 56
laps was completed (6 on the short version of the track,) the quickest in a
time of 1:26.823.

Barrichello continues testing at this circuit tomorrow.
