this is completely incorrect... the max port speed that that machine can
handle may be 19200... it could be 38400... my suggestion is to hook it
up, lock the port rate at 38400, dial into a local bbs letting the
modems negotiate what they will, then try to download a file... if you
have problems (ie: overrun errors, bad blocks, etc), terminate the call,
reset the port speed to 19200 and try again... 19200 should be ok... if
not, reduce it once more to 9600... that should be about the lowest
you'd need to go with it...
