Please correct me if I am wrong. Did you defend Cal Ripken Jr Most
Valuable Player award for leading his club to a sixth place finish? If
that is your criteria, then your American League MVP ought to be
Alex Rodriguez.
Despite Seattle's so-so record, I am tempted to support Rodriguez
anyhow.
