I agree that the federal government has been overreaching for years and
could stretch the law to fit this situation, though I doubt it will happen.

The irony lies in the fact that yet another
less--government-is-better-government Republican governor is considering
reaching out to Uncle Sugar to settle an internecine political dispute,
this one between sore winners and sore losers.
