Some types of electronic ignition fire more than once to better
control the burn and to ensure there are no misses. For example one
type might fire 2 very rapid bursts each time the cylinder is at the
right angle position. Has anyone here heard mention of piezo devices
being used to produce the spark energy instead of the usual coil?
