Hi Robert,
-----------------
SM> Jeanneau 36 Sunshine (God!.. I really don't like the names
SM> Jeanneau gives their boats - I figure that new one, the SunFizz,
SM> has got to be the worst !)
RR> Now, about the name. Yup, SunFizz is a new low. It puts me in mind of
RR> a product that was on the market many years ago. You would drop a
RR> tablet, much like an Alka Seltzer tablet, into a glass of water. You
RR> would end up with a weak, very artificial tasting "soda pop". It wasn't
RR> as bad as it sounds, it was worse!
-----------------
Ironically, the name on the hull is "Schnapps", except spelled
correctly :^). I figure the name must have had a very deep subconscious
effect on Struther which may explain why he immediately fell in love with
the boat .
It is a very gorgeous boat - both inside and out. The beam is brought
aft which allows for TWO double aft cabins, a roomy cockpit, AND there's
still room for TWO spacious cockpit lockers!!!
If you get the chance, drop by the National and take a peek - it's worth
the time - then stick around for a pint or two!
Cheers,
Augustin~~~===
