Hello,
  I've been reading the HS echo as I've been considering doing this for
my youngest child.
  I am of a mixed heritage myself and very proud of it.  I've always
been annoyed that we are only allowed to check off ONE under race.  As
I've said before, "what part do I deny?"
  My kids are proud of their heritage as well.  We go to the highland
festivals, the Octoberfest', the PowWows, and participate in traditional
United States celebrations.
