Are you talking about a caddy to mount a 2.5" drive in the 3.5"
or 5.25"
drive bay of a desktop machine, or are you looking for an external
enclosure for a 2.5" drive so you can connect it to another machine via
USB or FireWire?
2.5" drives have come in at least two different heights: 12.5mm and 9mm.
And somewhere along the way the position of the bottom-mounting holes
changed even for same-height drives: from holes spaced approx. 1/3 of
the way from each end to holes at the corners.
