BR> I took a peek inside one of the Mobile Docking trays I have (they ha BR>activity lights) and they tap off of either Pin 1 OR the pin vertically BR>adjacent to it (:) then thru a 100 ohm resistor then to an onboard IC then BR>another resistor then the LED. Very small stuff or I'd develop a schematic. I just took a look at a 2 1/2 to Laptop Drive to a Standard IDE cable adapter I have. IT looks like the Activity light comes off pin 20. The one on the same row but the opposite end of the IDE connector from Pin 1 The circuit is a feed off the + wire of the drive power connector, going through a resistor to the + lead of the LED with the - lead of the LED going to pin 20 on the IDE connector. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ This note from El Cajon California USA* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
