I don't run Proboard but all bbs's operate pretty much on the same
principals. :)

The first thought that comes to mind is the filebase index isn't
being updated. Are you running a pack or re-indexing during your
nightly maint?

Another thought, do those areas have allow adopt on, if you have
that option?
