        Under the current SIOPS SAC still retains some control over
Strategic weapons, with the exception of the Navy's.  However, JCS or
CINCUS approval is needed for the Navy to pop even a Tact-Nuke under most
ROE's.  The Tomahawk's in the new SSN's are usually the UGM-109B TASM
(Tomahawk Anti-Shipping Missile) which uses a 1000lb warhead, and the
guidance system out of the UGM-84 Harpoon Missile.  However, given the
Navy's stand to neither confirm or deny the use of nuclear weapons aboard
it's combatants, it's entirely reasonable to assume that one or more 
probably
4) of those are either UGM-109A TLAM-N or UGM-109D,E, F (TLAM-C) Tomahawk

        Most people dont even realize that the R/B/UGM-109 Tomahawk got it's
start as an outgrowth of a loophole in the SALT 1 Arms treaty that was signed
in 1972.  Kissinger asked the DOD to come up with a delivery system that had
not been considered during the negotiations, and the analysts discovered that
air-breathing (as opposed to rocket-powered) Cruise Missles were not banned
under the recently signed agreement.
