# o They use all sorts of gee-whiz technology, half of which doesn't exist and # the other half of which doesn't do what they show it doing. Like being able to # zoom in endlessly on a photo for ever-increasing levels of detail, to cite # just one example. ##[RJT=>All] I have noticed similar things on "CSI Miami" when I happen to watch it. The episode with the CART race was full of error. # o They present "the patriot act" and other aspects of their anti-terror # propaganda as a "good thing". ##[RJT=>All] Well, I was thinking about this one just the other day. I find it ironic that our liberal media had no problem with the many things the previous administration attempted to do that were unconstitutional. However, some of them are jumping up and down over this one. What I find even more ironic is that the example they often site is the 9/11 suspect that was detained. He is not a citizen and is not guaranteed any consitutional rights, as best as I can tell. I may side with your sweetie on this one. It is not like most of Hollywood to go along with anything the current administration is doing. If the Patriot Act were an Act of the Clinton Whitehouse, I'd agree with the "good thing" line of thinking, but not with that evil, evil W in the house.
