     OK, you have pacified me on the first reason I brought up; security.

     A second reason is:  curiosity!

     A third reason(?) is:  I WANT! to be in charge of MY! computer!

     A fourth reason is:  I want to change the internal TCP/IP
                          connection from DHCP to Fixed IP Address.
