Actualy the 8 Trac kand it's predicessor the 4 Track had theri place.
Althohg by design they would destroy themsleves.
As a piece of Nistalga I think the Muntz Automobile was the first one
being sold with a Tape Deck. It was a 4 Track as I recall..
Also remberber the Record players offered in the Chrysler Vehicles?
