Hi all,
In regards to self-election of a moderator, temp or not - NO WAY. If there
is to be an election, let the echo go unmoderated until an election
finalises a moderator.
Now, when an election IS held and a moderator IS in place, I vote for the
echo to be moderated only UNTIL it is relatively clear again OR until 6
months passes. Why 6 months? Face it - if the elected moderator hasnt fixed
it in that time, we need another. If the echo is free of most of the crap
it has now, then the moderator position is dissolved. I dont like the idea
of this echo being moderated and it may just be that it needs to be set
back on it's path and left to it.
What are your thoughts on this?
Rgs, Greg.
