And to think I still carry this conference on my home BBS just for a
relaxing getaway from the anarchic harangues on
rec.radio.shortwave...but then again I never thought Fred would live
long enough for me to say "there's never a topic cop around when ya need
one".  
It's already bad enough that George Wood litters the place with junk
more relevant to a different Fido conference already in existence, but I
fully expect that there's also another Fido conference that's more
relevant to your desired hellbent than this one, too.  The gentleman of
the two of ya was the one who voluntarily ended the discussion because,
unlike Usenet, there are such people as topic cops, and for once I'm
gonna say "thank God for that".  If you think it has anything to do with
what you said or what you did instead, you flatter yourself.  Now, at
the risk of usurping good ole mild mannered Fred here for this brief
posting,  know ye that you rudely yanked a chronic lurker out of the
