 I suppose the answer to this has a tremendous bearing upon what you
 mean by "alive".  If you mean - does this echo have a consciousness
 all its own, then yes I believe it does - but if you mean by that,
 that this echo actually posts new messages, and those names you see
 in the "From" line of our posts are made up by the echo itself, then
 yes I believe they are.  This echo is indeed, therefore, ALIVE, and
 so, if you know what's good for you, you will certainly keep your
