  You're going overboard.  It cannot _possibly_ be a violation of an NDA
  to do no more than confirm that there is a beta test program of PKZIP
  for OS/2 and indicate where information about it was to be found
  (which is all that the others did).
  After all, if PKWare are willing to publish the information on a Web
  page for all to see, do you _really_ think that they are going to be
  annoyed at you for telling people that the Web page exists ?
