I'm sure, hitting over .370 in modern age of junk + fastballs is a very
tough thing to do. But I agree with you, being 22 years old in major
league and hitting .370 with power can't always make you an MVP.
Speaking of being left out, why wouldn't people even consider Mark
McGwire as an MVP candidate? He hits for long ones while managing to hit
.320. He's one of the most amazing power hitters, if not the best, in
the history of baseball.
Palmeiro has no reflexes. Ripken lost some of his. Ripken lacks arm
strength also. But as long as they're swing their bats...
