| subject: | cleaning old 78 vinyls ? |
Temps got to 90F and over 70 humitity today, so after yard chores I spent the rest of the day in our naturally air conditioned basement ( Wayne will recognize this as the "celler" in our 1800s home 8-). After transplanting some tomato seedings; fixing a couple chairs and fans; I found a small carton of what appears to be some classic 78 vinyl records that has collected some yuck. Several of you all have discussed copying old recordings so I am hopeing you will be able to advise me how to best clean these records before I attempt playing and copying (some other very hot day 8-( please.
