No wit ? It's nice to know who one's friends are. It's also nice to know
who will be up against the wall with a bayonet wedged between the buttocks
shortly after the revolution starts, but that's another story.

To be completely fair to all concerned, it MUST be said that none of you
knows what I am thinking. Perhaps I secretly believe myself to be Elvis.
Perhaps even now, I am writing out a prepayment check for a whole-body
tattoo of an OS/2 Warp for SMP logo. There is no way /you/ could know, just
as there is no way AH could know. You will only ever know what I say, what
you observe, and what you can infer, and the latter is subject to a large
uncertainty. Maybe neither of you is correct. On the other hand, maybe I'm
sitting here laughing madly at the little jokules I've played on all the
Fidonetters. Or maybe I'm sitting here sharpening my Bowie knife and
watching Apocalypse Now.
