NB>> That sounds like a good possibility... :) Or if it ends up being
NB>> after school, maybe he could find things to read at the library while
NB>> you take your class... or do his homework there... ;)
DAG> I'm working with figuring out what the least painful way to get my
DAG> porksuit out of the house will be at this point. Nothing is off of the
DAG> table. :)
I'm sure that you'll work out some good options... :)
NB>> Perhaps a "compromise" would be to meet her once in person, to scope out
NB>> the body language, and then just keep that in mind for when you deal
NB>> with her on the phone... ;) (yes, a little tongue-in-cheek, perhaps [g])
DAG> Well judging by the fact that she has room in her 2-bedroom
DAG> apartment for a fully stocked bar, I'm gonna call my initial
DAG> predictions pretty close to the mark. They ended up getting together
DAG> the other weekend. She seems like a pretty good person, but definitely
DAG> still going through her partying phase. The kids had a great time,
DAG> though. I'm gonna have to get the place cleaned up here so that they
DAG> can see each other outside of school again soon.
I think there's a crossed wire there... I was talking about the person
from work you were dealing with, not the friend's mother... ;) However,
it's a good thing that the kids did get together and had a great time...
And yes, facilitating their being able to get together at your place is
also a good idea... :) Hopefully the mom will indeed grow past this
phase, and turn out ok...
DAG>> 'Course there one of them was my direct boss/former burglar.
NB>> There's a story there.... ;)
DAG> Oh you have no idea how tangled that particular web is. I really
DAG> need to finish that book... *laugh*
Crazy life... ;)
NB>> Yup... As long as we keep them flowing, pretty much, shouldn't get
NB>> TOO far behind, either one of us.. ;)
DAG> Well, I'm struggling a bit, as you can probably tell at this point,
DAG> but I'm trying to chip at things every day at least. Hopefully my
DAG> blockage clears soon and I'm able to get through a more decent amount
DAG> at a better clip.
Chipping away works... ;) Keeping a flow in the echo is part of the
scheme, after all... ;)
