  Did you set your transfer to binary first, Jeff?  Just before you do any 
"get" commands type "bin" (minus the " symbols). Otherwise there's a chance 
you are tranfering in Ascii mode and the file will be useless.
  I'll check the file out next time I'm on line just to be sure though.
