Lawanda, he isnt employed by a police department.  Thats why he specified 
*private*.  As in, Private Eye' type, or home security force type.  Nothing 
wrong with that, and he is clear to make the distinction each time the 
subject comes up.  Some of the public police types have problems with it 
though, so be warned!
