I found some text files on it, and it turned out to be fairly
straightforward. Got it in, and have run WS_FTP as a test, and
it seems to work fine. Actually, tracking down Netscape:OS/2
2.02 took longer. I don't have the list of places to look for
basics. Simple file management things und so weiter. I keep
opening DOS windows to use Directory Freedom or List to do stuff.

I don't actually notice any speed differences between OS/2 stuff,
DOS stuff, Win3 stuff. There might be stability stuff (tho in
Web Explorer, I've several times had a box pop up and give me a
message that I'd call a GPF under Win3), but to my casual eye,
core differences aren't there, only familiarity issues.

I don't actually *like* Windows. I consider it useful for
precisely one are: the net. I have a browser (MSIE), a
newsgroups/email thing (CMIE), an FTP prog (SuperFTP), and
Free Agent (which I use to skim newsgroups sometimes; if I
choose to read them regularly, they go into my CMIE setup).
All my *real* programs, things I use constantly, are DOS.
Speed Read for QWKs (and BW via a convertor; and newsgroups/email
via CMIE), TSE as editor, Directory Freedom, List, and many
more. I prefer text mode to graphics, really. I've actually
seen an OS/2 program called TextView, that's supposed to be like
DESQview, which I've used and liked. Might try it, one of these
months.
... I can promise to be frank, I cannot promise to be impartial.
