Yes, it would appear so (that it isn't listed any longer.)  Apparently the
moderators have all gone away, as there hasn't been word 1 from them in the
echo.  Nor from that fellow in New York that was purportedly doing the
gating at one time.  Ah well...

I had a closer look at the alt.writing newsgroup.  There doesn't presently
appear to be much related to writing posted there.  I'm going to check
alt.creative.writing and see what's the story there.  I'll advise.
