Actually, I've more than once been tempted (in computer stores) to gently
tell people they're about to be ripped off and to go elsewhere. One of my
friends tried it once, and did get a few daft looks from the shop.

But I can't see why everybody's so against the idea, unless they're planning to
rip people off themselves ...
