I did not notice, all I saw was TV/ newspapers.
A transparent PV cell wouldn't achieve much. The light that makes
lectricity,
is what is stopped by the cell. That which passes thru is I think "untapped
energy". But in these days of black glassed autos and every other guy wearing
"shades", the driver would probably be happy if rationed to 10% of the
available light for vision, in which case the availability of the remaining
90% for the PV duty, could be good news.
Tough though to drive safely at dusk. Watch out for black cats on tarred
