Yes, 10% of the light would have been fine - and tey dont drive at night in 
the race, so that would have bee the go. Now if you could combine 
electrchromic and photo voltaic technologies then y0u could have a cell which 
both generated power according to its blackness, and also controlled the 
drivers light livel!
Kali- on another dirt track of the information superhighway - a 386SX without
