I've found really bad reviews on every PSU I've researched, so I've
concluded none of them can really be depended on. That makes it a
toss-up.
Based on features and five star evaluations of users I've ordered a
Coolmax CXI-400B. It has a 120mm fan which turns more slowly for the
same amount of air movement and a selector switch for fan speeds. With
a third more power them my current PSU - which now puts out cool if
noisy air - I suspect it will have all the capacity I'll need for a
while and not wail at me while it's putting it out. I'll put the wailer
on the shelf for when it gets unbearably silent around here. ;-)
Actually I probably wouldn't bother with the PSU, but I had some odd
stuff happening when I hooked up more than a minimal compliment of
drives to the 300W Enermax I have. My present load is about 175W now
(low power video card). An additional HD, a CD and a floppy shouldn't
put that out of range of a 300W unless it, too, reserves a bunch of
power for fans.

Politicians want to know all about security measures. That they don't
understand the "need to know" principle proves they should not
know.
