Hi Bill,

Yes, I currently have Comms Server running as a TN3270e Gateway, and I also
found it very difficult to get Explicit terminals (for printing) to work as
we wanted. As a result of those difficulties, we are not currently using
Explicit terminals at all, however I seem to remember that we temporarily
resolved the problem by defining a NEW PU & LU and host configuration to
allow us to test Explicit terminal mapping, but I can't remember all the
details of what we did sorry.
The original configuration we played with used an early version of Comms
Server + some service packs, however we have just (about 6 days ago) received
the latest CD of Comms Server but its not yet installed. I am hoping things
have improved to make such a configuration easier with this release.
If you do manage to solve the problem, please post the details of how you did
it, likewise I may be able to report better luck with the latest release of
S/W so will let you know how we get on. I expect to install it in about 2-3
weeks.
Regards..........pk.
