hmm, never saw it, I just did a lot of log-watching. When I saw the CHAP 
request, I reconfigured for that and it went right through.

Hmm, I didn't have to do that either. Well, there is a place to do that, but 
I 
think it's for the provider, or something __inet.net, __ = country. (ie, 
usinet.net, cainet.net, ukinet.net, etc...)
Didn't take a lot to figure it and configure it :)
