If you have Blur or Do Not Track Me as an extension in FF, that may well do
it.
Open FF and left click on the three horizontal bars on the top right ( Open
Menu) and then select Add-ons and then select Extensions and take a look.
Start FF in its SafeMode
Start the same way as above with the three horizontal lines, and down near
the bottom right of the box that opens, select the ? (Help) and then select
Restart with Add-ons disabled. (This is basically Safe Mode for FF)
It will return to Normal Mode when you restart FF later.
