subject: F1: Ferrari Jerez/Fiorano test notes 2004-02-10

First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Jerez de
la Frontera circuit, in southern Spain. Luca Badoer took to the track today,
switching between the two F2003-GA at his disposal.

The day's technical programme centred on tyres and new components for the
2004 season. The Scuderia's official test driver completed a total of 87
laps, the quickest being a 1:18.249.
Badoer continues testing at this circuit tomorrow.

First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Fiorano
circuit. This afternoon, Michael Schumacher took to the track at the wheel
of an F2004.

The German driver bedded-in a few components which will be used in the test
at the Mugello Circuit, due to take place over the next few days. Schumacher
completed a total of 34 laps (18 on the short version of the track,) the
quickest in a time of 57.113.

Development testing of the F2004 continues tomorrow at Mugello, with Michael
Schumacher at the wheel.
