Thats a very good and valid point. My children stay up later. We generally
watch the 11:00 news together as it has better things to talk about than
the earlier news. This allows the children to see what is going on around
them, good and bad. Sometimes we spot things on TV and sometimes the
Library takes longer. Our Cat had kittens so things have been hectic.
She had problems so she had to go to the vet and have her labor induced
because she stopped after having one. Before she had them we read a book
about Cats and gave them an idea about it. Now they are a basket full of
questions. No telling what time of day gobs of questions will come and
how long they will last. I do write alot of it down and I never received
any interference from the school system yet. My older son ran into his
teacher from last year. She questioned him about it. She asked if he
had a teacher or a computer. He related I have both. Even though I
don't have a degree, he considered me the teacher (which is a fact and
I believe all parents are teachers). I was a little surprised he left
it at that though. Our our library day I am getting books on education
and different ways of teaching. My Jeremy absolutely was surprised when
he found out I read a book (about 300 pages) in one day. He is begining
to read by himself now. He doesn't like to read out loud so I don't
push it. He's slow at reading. Oh, I getting off the subject matter.
I guess I worry about the time, because the law here in Mich is so
general now. I want to protect myself the best I can.
