Believe it or not it isn't that bad.. The first flight is like a newbee but
after that WATCH OUT. I flew R\c's in the Marine Corps for 8 years making a
living at my hobby. It all come back real quick.
RM>> so the old low-winger is 10 yrs old, what is it ??
It's arf planet-40 I got in a trade. Got a os46 long stoke it it and it does
very well for a smaller pattern style plane.. I still can do most of the
pattern very well. It doesn't like the rolling circle though. I've never
crashed it. I did recover it a while back and eveyone thought I finally
bought a new plane.. I have a skip mast c-130 all cut out and ready for
work. Have the fiberglass nacelles for it and all. That's been sitting
around for about 12 years. I thought I wanted to build one when I was
a USMC Kc-130 guy. (Wanaa buy it?) Than I got tied up with Byron jets
and that project took the back seat (and is still there)!..
We DO have a well-stocked hobby shop in a
